Privacy Policy

Lapine is a cycle companion app. The short version: your data stays on your device. We do not collect it, see it, or sell it.

What data the app stores

Lapine stores the information you enter yourself:

• cycle dates you mark (period days);
• daily check-ins (mood, symptoms, whether the forecast matched);
• drawn cards of the day, the letter you write to yourself, reading progress in Lapine’s Library;
• status entries of friends that you add manually via status codes;
• app settings (language, notification preferences, cycle length).

All of this is stored locally on your device only, in the app’s private storage. Lapine has no accounts, no registration, and no cloud sync. We operate no servers that receive your data.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal or health data.
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not require an account or any personal identifiers.

Notifications

If you enable the morning forecast, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. You can choose a private notification mode where the notification text contains no cycle details. Notifications can be turned off anytime in the app settings or system settings.

Status codes (“My Circle”)

If you choose to share your day’s status, the app generates a short text code containing only: the date, your selected mood level, and the current phase name. The code is shared by you, through a messenger of your choice. Lapine never sends it anywhere itself. Codes you receive from friends are stored locally, and you can delete them anytime.

Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and, for entitlement validation, by RevenueCat acting as our processor. We never see your payment details. Purchase records are tied to an anonymous identifier, not to your name or health data.

Export and deletion

• Export: you can export all your data as a text file from Settings at any time.
• Deletion: “Erase all data” in Settings permanently removes everything the app stored on your device. Deleting the app has the same effect.

Health disclaimer

Lapine offers gentle, educational content and cycle estimates. It is not a medical device, not contraception, and not medical advice. Predictions are estimates based on the dates you enter. For medical concerns, please consult a doctor.

Children

Lapine is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region).

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
